Kauf is a highly creative and collaborative female-run lingerie studio, creating beautiful, high-quality and affordable lingerie. Expertly cut and comfortable, all of our garments are handmade in our studio in the North of England. As part of a strong, supportive community of local makers in Sheffield, we work with independent suppliers wherever possible.

Founder and designer Charlotte Kaufman comes from a line of seamstresses and studied Fashion Design at Sheffield Hallam University. Fit and form are in Charlotte’s DNA and she has always had a passion for lingerie and the way it can make you feel. Kauf is a celebration of the female form, in all of its forms and everyone is welcome.

We believe in dressing to please yourself, cultivating inner strength and resilience, playfulness and positivity. We are committed to inclusivity and are constantly working towards a size inclusive range. Get in touch here if you don’t see your size and you would like to go on our waiting list—help us to understand which sizes are most in demand, so that we can work on them as a priority.

We are keen to limit our environmental impact and make use of end-of-line and discontinued fabrics and trims. We use recycled or recyclable packaging and encourage our community to make conscious choices about the garments they buy and to lean away from fast fashion.

Our packaging is made from sustainable sources and every order helps towards planting trees in Brazil.
